One of the more unusual ideas I have come across and actually also tried myself is Skiing in Sicily.
The thing about Skiing in Sicily is that it is great if you are looking more for somewhere unusual to ski rather than if you are looking for the best possible skiing. The truth be told, if you want great skiing the likes of Switzerland, French Alps and Italian Alps, Colorado (USA) etc are all better!
If what you are interested in though is the:
- Chance to Ski part of a volcano
- Mixed with great food and wines
- With the chance to see other Sicilian towns such as Taormina
