Rome events – This year is the 14th edition of the L’isola del cinema. It is an annual open-air festival start on the 26th of June until the 7th of September and takes place on a special location, the Tiberina Island (L’Isola Tiberina). Every day, many top movies are on the program and music, dance, fashion, multimedia artists, delicious food and drink and not to forget to mention, some celebrities will be there too, to enjoy the warmth and sociability. Many people from all over the world come to this festival. Some movies that are on the program are “Family Game”, “Incontri con il cinema e la tv”, “Il punto rosso” and Cous Cous.

This year, the L’isola del cinema has major supporters, such as The High Petronage of the President of the Italian Republic, the Rome council (commune di Roma), the Saint Egidio Community and the embassies of the countries that participate.
